The most common reason for refusal of short-term travel visas is not missing documents but an inconsistent file: an income statement that does not match bank transactions, a hotel booking that does not match the length of the trip, or an invitation letter with an unclear purpose. We read your file through the consulate's eyes and close these gaps before you apply.
Who is it for?
For anyone applying to the Schengen countries, the UK, the US or Canada for trips of up to 90 days, such as holidays, visiting family or friends, trade fairs and short courses. We follow a separate strategy for first-time applicants, those who have previously been refused and those aiming for a multiple-entry visa.
How does the process work?
- Initial assessment: the purpose of travel, employment status, travel history and financial situation are assessed together.
- Document list: a list specific to the country and your profile is drawn up, with guidance on anything missing.
- File check: documents are checked one by one; the form and cover letter are prepared.
- Appointment and biometrics: a suitable appointment is booked and you are given a checklist for the day of application.
- Result tracking: your file is tracked until a decision is made and your passport is back in your hands.
The 90/180 rule
In the Schengen area, you cannot stay for more than a total of 90 days within any 180-day period. This calculation is the most common mistake made by multiple-entry visa holders; we check your travel plan against this rule together with you.
